Dr. Jennifer Platz Bartolucci
Dr. Jennifer Platz Bartolucci graduated with honors from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2000. Before joining our team, she practiced in Sterling Heights and Rochester Hills, Michigan. Beginning in October of 2003, Dr. Platz practiced at Village Animal Clinic in Farmington, Michigan. Since spring of 2007, Dr. Platz has called Country Ridge Animal Hospital her second home.
Dr. Platz and her husband Sean Bartolucci live in Canton, Michigan, along with their Golden Retriever, Gracie (pictured above). December 26, 2007 they welcomed their first child, Brandon. Outside of being a veterinarian, she now spends most of her time being a mommy and loves it.
Dr. Platz is a member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), the MVMA (Michigan Veterinary Medical Association), and is currently the President of SEMVMA (Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association). She loves being a veterinarian and having the opportunity to care for people’s pets, getting to know them, and being a part of their families.
Crystal; Veterinary Assistant
Crystal has been a nature and animal lover her whole life. After working at our other location, Village Animal Clinic for over two years, she joined the Country Ridge team in July 2008. She is currently attending Oakland County Community College to obtain her associates degree. She loves outdoor activities, reading, exercising and spending time with friends and family. A native Michigander, she has lived in Buffalo, New York and Dallas, Texas. She now calls Commerce home. Crystal lives with her two cats, mixed breed dog, and a Dutch Rabbit(pictured above).
Nicole; Licensed Veterinary Technician
Nicole graduated with honors from the Veterinary Technology program at Baker College of Jackson. After graduating, she moved back home to the Farmington area and started working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Village Animal Clinic in July 2008. After two years at Village Animal Clinic, she was transferred to Country Ridge to assist the doctors and patients there. When not hard at work at one of the two animal hospitals, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, son, Michael, and their Pitbull mix, Zooey (rescued from the humane society). Nicole has always been a nature lover and wanted to be in the veterinary field for as long as she can remember, so it’s like second nature to her to take great care of your furry kids.
Jenny D; Veterinary Assistant
After working in real estate for 5 years, she finally decided to pursue her passion of animals and found us in October 2008. She was hired to be our Veterinary Assistant but plans on attending Wayne County Community College to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. Jenny currently resides in Garden City, MI with her Pitt Bull Mix named Zoey and her Great Dane Mix named Bowser, both rescued from shelters. In her spare time, she enjoys running with her dogs and being outdoors.
